The Mondego, 234 km long, originates in the Serra da Estrela near Gouveia at an altitude of 1,360 metres and its bay is a unique environment. Blacck bass are present in large numbers, as are pike-perch and comizo barbel.

The grandson of a shepherd, born in the mountains of Portugal, I've always been close to nature and attracted by water and fishing. Having recently become a father, I felt the need to get closer to nature again, in order to pass on the simple values of respect for nature and the elements that surround us.
At the age of thirty, I decided to leave everything behind to become a fishing guide. This state qualification allows me to make a living from my passion, and to share it with as many nature and fishing lovers as possible.

From now on, I'll be accompanying you on nature outings in contact with the water and our friends the fish. All in wild settings in France but also for fishing trips in Portugal.

Whether it's for a weekend or several days, I'll accompany you on your black bass fishing trips to Portugal on the Mondego. There are many different approaches, learning modern techniques, but above all nature and the fish in their environment are captivating subjects.
We will be prospecting and searching for the black bass that inhabit this area using lures and a variety of current fishing techniques.
