Information about your guide

JURA-FISHING

I've had a passion for my native department of the Jura and for fishing ever since I was a child, and for several years I travelled the length and breadth of it with a fishing rod in my hand, just for the pleasure of it.
I now have a "BP JEPS speciality leisure fishing" diploma from the Maison Nationale de l'Eau et de la Pêche in Ornans (25), and I'd be delighted to accompany you, by boat or float-tube, to any of the fish-rich lakes in this department (such as Vouglans, Coiselet, Clairvaux, Chalain, Ilay, Bonlieu, Les Rousses, etc.), to introduce you to or perfect two fishing techniques in particular: lure fishing for predators and battery fishing for carp, all in an exceptional natural setting!), where you can learn or improve your skills in two fishing techniques in particular: lure fishing for predators and battery fishing for carp, all in an exceptional natural setting!
I'll be there to take you to the best possible sites, and help you familiarise yourself with the navigation and fishing equipment used on this unforgettable day.

The detailed programme

Join me on a private, secure 5-hectare pond nestling in the heart of the Jura forest, where carp of all types and weights swim for a day, 24 hours or even longer!
You'll be fishing in comfort on specially prepared spots with quality equipment, not forgetting the invaluable advice of your guide who has been practising this technique for several years in competition.
You'll learn how to make your own rigs, how to sound and bait your fishing spot correctly, and how to handle fish using the right techniques.
You'll be able to sleep on site and fish for carp at night in the campsite (fishing tent or chalet, depending on the weather).
