The detailed programme

1st day of fishing trip :

You will arrive at Fuerteventura airport (FUE). From there, our team will take full charge of you and we'll head straight to our accommodation in Morro Jable. This small village in the south of the island will be our meeting point with our skipper.
If we arrive early enough, we'll even have the chance to make a few casts from the coast on day 1 of our fishing trip to Fuerteventura.

2nd day of fishing trip :

Our fishing trip to Fuerteventura is finally starting!

Fishing times will depend on the weather, the wind and the tide. So it all depends on what the weather and the sea allow. But generally, days start at 9am, after a good breakfast, and go on until 5/18pm.

For dinner, we'll be dining in a seaside restaurant just across from the famous Jandia beach, where our friends will be preparing some impressive dishes using our own catches, if you decide to keep a few. Otherwise, catch & release is the order of the day.

We can start to get our hands on the magnificent sparids that abound not far from the coast.

3rd day of fishing trip :

The "sierra" (sarda sarda) or more commonly the bonito, is very present throughout the year. However, the spring months offer the greatest number of catches.
There's plenty of hunting to be done at this time of year, and with the right light equipment, you're sure to have a great time!

The impressive Atlantic caves just 10-15 metres below the surface are also home to a large number of tassergals, rock fish and other large predators.

You never know what might come up on your lure with each cast.

4th day of fishing trip :

We can dedicate this day to jigging. The seabed on this island is full of surprises.
Indeed, the volcanic backdrop provided by these islands is an ideal habitat for all kinds of species, including impressive groupers.

The wahoo are also very present in these waters and are probably the biggest and fastest fish we will encounter on our fishing trip to Fuerteventura.

Day 5 of the fishing trip :

Three species of amberjack can be caught during this fishing trip:
- La Sériole Loquillo
- La Drumerilli
- La Rivollana

During our stay, we will finally be able to fish for barracuda, which are abundant in these waters and come in imposing sizes.

As you can see, during your fishing holiday in fuerteventura, you'll come across a multitude of species, depending on the time of year and your preferences.

6th day of fishing trip :

As long as we have free time, we'll use the morning to stop off at emblematic places on the island, such as: volcanoes, the salt museum, typical bars, Honduras, its famous cheeses, its incredible landscapes and other points of interest where we'll stop off on the way back.

If the group wishes, you can also do a final session from here before taking the plane back. You'll be targeting mahi-mahi, tassergal, tazards, denti and yellowtail.

In short, it would be hard to get bored on this fishing trip to Fuerteventura.

Advice and recommendations

* The spring and autumn months are ideal for this destination because the winds are rare. We keep the possibility of bad weather preventing us from fishing to a minimum.

* The equipment you need to bring is slow or fast jigging gear up to 200 grams. Spinning up to 50 grams
* 65/80 lb lines are recommended. This is the ideal diameter for fishing this destination.
* Group of 4 anglers.
