The detailed programme

Fishing on the Villefort reservoir is highly variable, depending on the season. The presence of great depths, a Mediterranean hydrological regime and a rapid tidal range mean that fishing conditions and fish behaviour vary very quickly. The fed nature of this reservoir on the Altier ensures good fish growth and an abundance of forage fish for carnivores. Among the latter, the common perch now occupies a good position, in competition with the lake trout and the rainbow trout from restocking.
