This is an introductory course in sport fishing for wild trout using flies or nymphs.. According to a progressive method and the conditions of the moment, I will guide you by teaching you all the fundamental rules of fly fishing (casting, approach, choice of tackle, leader, fly, presentation, etc.). The Chéran offers a wide range of techniques for this very special type of fishing, depending on the geographical area surveyed, whether it's a torrent upstream or a wider, calmer river downstream.

Information about your guide

Fred

Fred has been passionate about fishing and nature ever since he was a child, a passion he discovered with his father and which he now shares with as many people as possible.
It is a key player in the fishing industry in the Bauges and Albanais regions, home to the emblematic Chéran river.
The Chéran and its tributaries hold no secrets for him, so many times has he walked its banks. That's why he proposes to guide you on this capricious river, preferring to devote himself exclusively to this territory. With him, no grand theories on fly fishing, no long speeches, just the essentials. The aim is to have fun!

I can collect you directly from your accommodation or we can arrange to meet in the morning. I would be delighted to share my passion for fly fishing with you, to introduce you to the sport, help you improve your skills or guide you around the most beautiful stretches of the Chéran.
