Recognized throughout Europe for its impressive pike population, the Plobsheim lake and its 700 ha of habitats favorable to predators, are one of my favorite playgrounds for large pike fishing!
Between seagrass beds, on fractures, in open trenches or in former river beds that are now submerged, I'll show you how to spot and catch the magnificent pike that inhabit these waters.
Mathieu
From the Vosges mountains and my native Alsace, via the mythical rivers of Franche Comté, I specialised in fly fishing and fishing with artificial lures from a very young age. My passion has led me to discover the most beautiful rivers and lakes in north-eastern France (Vosges, Alsace, Doubs, Jura) and to seek out others in the far reaches of Europe.
An expert in aquatic environments and fish farming management, I have been a professional fisherman since 2010 and am a qualified Fishing Guide Instructor at the Maison Nationale de l'Eau et de la Pêche in Ornans.
It's this solid experience, this love of water, fish and fishing, that I want to share with you through my guides and fishing trips!
