Discover carnivore fishing on Lake Serre-Ponçon, the second largest artificial reservoir in Europe! Lac de Serre-Ponçon is an artificial lake in the southern French Alps, on the border between the Hautes-Alpes and Alpes-de-Haute-Provence departments. It was created by damming the Durance river, 2 km downstream of its confluence with the Ubaye. It is the second largest artificial lake in Europe in terms of capacity (1.272 billion cubic metres) and the third largest in terms of surface area (28.2 km).²).

The lake's fish population is varied and interesting. Several large lake trout are regularly taken every year, accompanied by enormous pike and of very large poles.

The abundance of fish in the Lac de Serre-Ponçon means that carnivorous fish (pike poles) on an exceptional site worthy of the most beautiful postcards.

Fishing tackle:

Very stable 4.50 m Fun Yak boat with full safety equipment (anchor with 35 m rope, fire extinguisher, lifejackets, bailer, oars and boat hook), Mercury 40 hp 4-stroke petrol engine, Minn Kota Terrova 80 lbs electric motor with I-Pilot, Humminbird Helix 7 G2 depth sounder with Down Imaging and Side Imaging.
