Located on the Rhône Delta in Port Saint Louis du Rhône, I invite you to discover one of the richest fishing spots on the Mediterranean coast.
Ideally situated on the border between the Camargue and Provence, the mouth of the Rhône is renowned for its RED TUNA fishing, particularly with lures. But that's not its only attraction: this unique and rich biotope attracts and concentrates all the biggest marine predators in the Mediterranean, such as Liches Amies, Loups, Tassergals, Bonites, Espadons, Requins, etc.
I invite you to come on board with me and track down these predators throughout the seasons!

The detailed programme

The tassergal fishing in the Rhône Delta is mainly done with surface lures : Popper, flapper et prop bait seront vos meilleurs atouts…

The average size of Mediterranean tassergals in the Rhône Delta is between 1 and 3 kilos, with individuals sometimes exceeding 6 kilos.

All the fishing equipment you need for this day's fishing will be provided (rods, reels, lures and small consumables).

Ideal periods for tassergal fishing in the Rhône Delta

The tassergal likes warm water, so they generally arrive in the Rhône Delta in late spring and leave before winter when the water cools a little too much for them. It is therefore possible to fish for tassergal in the Rhône Delta from the beginning of June to the end of November.

Further information

For obvious reasons of preserving tassergal populations, we will be practising "catch and release" as much as possible.
