Float-tube fishing on the Loire

I propose a day of float-tube fishing on the Loire, for a descent of a wild sector of this mythical river of France. The descent takes in islets and oxbows, currents and pools. A variety of habitats and landscapes will allow you to fish for several species of carnivorous fish. Large spawning grounds for pikeradiators to hotus and barbeauxpits for zander and the catfish submerged woods hiding poles and pike.

I'm passionate about nature, lakes and rivers, and that's what I do for a living. I've been a river technician for over 10 years, and the desire to share my passion led me to become a fishing guide instructor. I've been a competitive urban angler since I started out, then moved on to float-tube fishing, and I'm always on the lookout for something new. I offer courses that combine modern techniques and equipment with the authenticity and simplicity of sharing and nature.

The detailed programme

Start the morning with an approach walk on the back of a float tube before launching into the water to return to the starting point via the river. 

Hiking 100% carnivorous fish, from one to three anglers, familiar or not with the float-tube (course with many calm zones, introductory session before departure). The fishing potential is real, with a large population of pike and of poles.

1.5 km course for a downhill day and 5.5 km course for a downhill session bivouac over 2 days and one night.
