Who hasn't heard of the OSP brand and lures? For many people, OSP (Osprey Spiritual Performer) is theone of the best brands on the world market for bass and other predators<\/strong>. In this article, we set out to discover this legendary brand and select the best OPS lures in our opinion.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Introducing OSP and the creator of its lures<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Toshinari Namiki is certainly one of the best lure designers of all time. He created the OSP brand in June 2000, 23 years of existence at the time of writing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Namiki had become a professional black bass fisherman, but at the time it wasn't enough to make a decent living. So he was forced to work on the side as a taxi driver to pay his bills.
In the beginning, OSP was not only a lure manufacturer, but also a private office that was compulsory to have on bass fishing tournaments in the United States. He used it as a studio to develop his new lures for the American tournaments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"Toshinari<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

OSP's lure manufacturing policy remains unchanged after all these years. The aim is to produce quality lures without promising short delivery times. It's frustrating for anglers, but the quality is there!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

OSP Bentminnow<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The Bentminnow <\/a><\/strong>is the lure that propelled OSP to the top. It is a floating curved hard lure. Its special feature is dead sticking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thanks to its erratic swimming, the Bentminnow can trap large specimens.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

This means that it perfectly imitates a fish dying on the surface. When you animate, it undulates erratically. Ultra realistic in the water! A must-have from OSP. Available in several sizes: 76mm, 86mm, 106mm, 130mm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

OSP Yamato and Yamato Jr<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The Yamato <\/a><\/strong>is a cylindrical stickbait. The special feature of this lure is its double attachment system on the nose. A top eyelet will give the lure an S-shaped action if the retrieve is constant. The bottom eyelet gives a more classic walking the dog action.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
