As a fishing guide in Hourtin, my aim during our visit will be to be attentive to your every need when lure fishing for carnivorous fish such as pike, perch and catfish on this legendary Grironde lake.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The lake of<\/strong> Carcans\/Hourtin<\/strong> The 5670-hectare site is located on the Atlantic coast of the Gironde department. It is one of the France's largest natural freshwater lake<\/strong>set in an exceptional forest environment between dunes and marshes, carnivorous fishing<\/strong>in particular the pike<\/strong>is king. These lakes are home to an abundant and varied fish population.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The pike<\/strong> is very present on Lac d'Hourtin, with a large number of large specimens over 80 cm. Lake Hourtin<\/strong> is also very rich in poles<\/strong> which move in shoals near the sea grass beds; it is not unusual to catch poles over 40 cm<\/strong> in Carcans\/Hourtin. With top-of-the-range equipment, you will be supervised by a qualified fishing guide attentive to your every need.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
