Catfish break fishing is one of the techniques that allows you to catch the most fish throughout the year. This wait-and-see style of fishing allows you to lay down rigs at long or medium distances, optimising stealth. Catfish feed mainly at night, which is why morning and evening shots give the best results. Depending on the mood of the fish, we will adapt the fishing (worms, live fish or dead fish).

The detailed programme

During the waiting phases, we will discuss a number of different subjects:

  • Knowledge of fish
  • Discovering the equipment
  • Baits to use depending on the season
  • The different spots to tackle
  • Reading an echo sounder
  • The different assemblies
  • Making brittle
  • Removal of boat mounts

Catfish fishing on the break requires ultra-strong equipment, and the use of a boat is compulsory for removing the rigs. For this extreme type of fishing, nothing can be left to chance.
